I've done it!

I've FINALLY graduated! It's taken me thirteen years, but I've done it at last..... but now what? Well, I plan on taking a trip out to the community college that I plan to attend in order to see about setting up an application for a pell grant. Apparently, I'm eligible to receive a great sum of money, it's just that I may have waited too late to receive it.

Anyways, college stuff aside, Tim and I have had the greatest past few days together. I have been off work and now out of school) and he has a rather loose schedule, so we have been spending a great amount of time near each other.

Another thing that makes me super happy is that I think Mom finally realizes how happy I am now. She and Tim have really hit it off, and even my dad, who is a pastor, seems to like him. I'm almost 100% sure that this isn't an act (mostly because my parent's are AWFUL actors). The reason I say that, though, is because of how they've been behaving. My parents seem to treat Tim like a friend of the family. For instance, he and my mom where goofing off like kids at Lillie's B-day party, a couple of days ago. Also, he and my dad did a little bonding while getting some yard work done. The parents have also started treating me more like an adult.

After the graduation, My parents threw me a party, and everyone had a lot of fun, including Tim and me. My parents were surprisingly accepting and my sisters absolutely adored him. Don't get me wrong, i knew that the night was mine, but I loved seeing my family and my boyfriend getting along so well.

Ready, Let's Role Onto Something New

So here I am. A senior on the day of his high school graduation. The theme of today seems to be "turning the pages of a new chapter." So, in celebration of that fact I've decided that it was high time to start a new blog. I'm just as ambitious about this one as I was the last one, and I plan to put a lot of effort into this one, documenting every day as much as possible.

So I must go. My diploma awaits!
