Back to Normal...

...and Happy about it. The morning after my last post, everything was just as fine as it was the day before. We've only grown closer. Another thing, I don't really count on that last bit as being an argument. I've always told Tim that I look forward to our first argument, and I still do, but whatever that was really didn't count.

Okay, so the other day we found something pretty amazing in our garden. We had noticed for a while that there was a yellow squash plant growing in the garden. Nona said that she didn't plant it, and that it was coming from last year's garden. Well look at this plant...

That is the absolute biggest squash I've ever seen in my life! My hand fits just around the neck of it, that's how big it is. But the funniest thing is that it is a hybrid between a squash and zucchini! Somehow this plant has been cross-pollinated and has been producing these monstrosities!

Yesterday, Tim and I went to Montgomery. He said that the night before last he really had the urge to see his mom. Turns out his mom was having health difficulties that very night. So, we headed off to Montgomery.

Before we visited his mom, who had told him that she was fine (unconvincingly, apparently), we went to the mall! That was the first time I'd ever been to the Montgomery mall, and I have to say that it was pretty nice. It was no Galleria, but it was still a nice place.

Of course, inside the mall goofing off ensued. Tim and I wrought havoc upon all of his favorite stores, and we didn't even buy a single thing.

(And yes, this is me attempting to model for the SWANKY SEXY SUMMER Dress Sale. Sexy right?)

After the Mall, we went straight to Tim's Mom's office. She seemed happy to see us, and reassured Tim that she was feeling fine.

We sat in her office for a while. I was being quiet and observant, as usual, and I really hope that it didn't come across in a bad way. Anyways, I could tell that I really liked her. She seemed wise and caring, and sounded like she could see what a person was really worth.

When we left Miss Sondra's (Tim's Mom) office, Tim decided to take me to the Shakespeare Festival, seeing as how I'd only been once, and that time really didn't count since all I got to see was the Theater.

Anyways, the first thing we went to go see was the Museum of Fine Arts.  It was too bad that we got there at the time we did, because it was going to close in about ten minutes.

So, Tim took me by the hand and gave me a condensed tour of the bottom floor. I must say, for a ten minute tour, it was pretty amazing. I very much look forward  to going back so that I can get some real time to examine some of the work.

Today, I mostly studied my new Tarot Cards that I got from the Books A Million in Montgomery yesterday. It's amazing to see how all of the cards have such separate stories, but each of them cover a specific aspect of life.

I'm also getting into palm reading, which I've found out was once considered a scientific study. I guess you do learn new things every day!

Oh, and Tim and I cooked his belated birthday cake today. It's a German chocolate, coconut, and pecan cake a la Paula Dean... and that means a ton of butter went into it ;).
