GNO!!!

     Yesterday I went to work, thinking that I had to work a nine hour shift. However, when I went to see the schedule, I wasn't scheduled to work yesterday. Instead, I was scheduled to work today. Well, at first, I was a little upset because I had made some slight plans for today and yesterday.

     So I was left with nothing to do. Then, a brilliant idea came to mind. I hadn't seen my best friend, Steph, since graduation. So I called her up and asked if she wanted to do anything. She seemed more than happy to oblige.

     We ended up going to the theater and seeing Get Him to the Greek. She thought it was funny as heck, when to me it was okay. Really, it was just fun hanging out. We had almost the whole theater to ourselves!

     After the somewhat-funny movie we went to eat at olive garden and got to discuss some deep issues like what the future holds and our slipping relationships with old friends. Then I remembered why she was my best friend. She's the type of person you can expect to listen to your problems and come up with a strong, practical solution from total sincerity. She and I have also related very strongly to the same issues. Now don't get me wrong, we have our differences, but most of the time we agree on about everything.

     After olive garden we went to Books A Million and I helped her pick out a cute journal while getting something for myself. (it's a surprise that you'll maybe hear about later.) While in books a million, she got cold so I lent her my jacket. Well when we were leaving the store it starts pouring and she takes off toward her car, wearing my jacket, leaving me to get wet :). It's okay though, I love the rain!
