So for the past few days my computer has been acting up... and I'm talking "the Blue Screen of Death" type of acting up. It's been awful. For three days, I've had practically no access to anything. So, I went out and bought a brand new one! Sure it cost me, but I think it was worth it. I forgot what it was like to have a fully-functional computer!
Despite my technological difficulties, I did still manage to piece together a compilation of photos to show how those past few days have gone...

Friday

Was fairly uneventful. We stayed at my place and just kind of hung around all day. Here you can see our Kitty, Poochie, watching Tim play a video game. Why did we name him Poochie, you may ask? Well, he likes to eat dog food, he prefers dog toys, he chews on our shoes, chases his tail, and even scratches on the door when he wants to sit in our laps.
I swear that cat is a dog.

On all of these days, I've been off work and Tim has been close beside me. He's been just as sweet as ever, and continues to surprise me with his talent and charm. In fact, on Friday he decided to cook a cheesecake for us. Now he knows that there are two things I love in the world and cheesecake is one of them. The other would be a good rainstorm, and guess what? That happened too.
I went outside, gathered up a couple of buckets, and did my best to catch the rainwater. (I grow a full compilation of plants, and rain water is the absolute best water for a plant, so i try to gather it whenever it is humanly possible.) Tim and I spent time listening to the thunderstorm, since both of us think that it is absolutely romantic.

Saturday, we went out to town. I did a little shopping around (mostly for games) but we ended up eating at the Blue Moon Bar-B-Que joint. I'd never been and neither had Tim, so we decided to take a peek inside. When we saw the size of those onion rings, though, our paths were set. We were going to eat there!
The workers there had on t-shirts that read on the back, "The Best Butts in Town: Blue Moon Bar-B-Que". Tim and I both saw it at the same time, and before I knew it he was cracking jokes. Anyways, we had a lot of fun there, but we decided to move on through our day.
There is this little place up in Alabaster that a lot of people don't know about. To get there, you have to drive up a tall mountainous hill and find where the road forks off. Right at the fork, one of the roads end, making it more like a small parking area. Behind that area is the "Secret Place". That is what Tim and I have decided to call it.
It is right on the highest part of the Hill and is filled with beautiful boulders and greenery. I had been there once with one of my friends, Steve. I was doing a "photo-shoot" for him and decided to do some nature shots, when I found this place by accident. Needless to say, I hit the jackpot.
Anyways, while Tim and I where at the Secret Place, a thunderstorm brewed, leading to heavy rain. The sound of the water hitting the leaves was beautiful, and the hill was so far up that we were actually in a cloud. I jokingly told Tim that when his friends at work asked him what he did today, to reply, "Oh I just took a stroll through the clouds with my boyfriend."
When we eventually got home, we were drenched.
How cute are your pictures!!! I'm glad you're enjoying your time with Tim :)
