Day 1 of Vacation

     First of all, let me give out a huge THANKS to all of my blog-friends! the words that you guys gave me really helped me along! I am no longer feeling upset or discomforted by those things. Sure, it took a bit of thought, but in the end I regained my sense of self-worth and decided to stop wallowing in my own misery.

     So as the title says, today is Day 1 of vacation for Tim and me. Both of us are off work for an entire week, and we have a LOT planned. Today, we decided to take care of some unfinished business. Poochie has been needing a bath for quite some time, now. He's also begun scratching at his chin and ears.... that's right... FLEAS!

     So while we were in town, we decided to buy Poochie some stuff. We ended up getting flea killer, ear mite repellent, cat food, a cat collar, and a lazer (for his enjoyment). Seeing Poochie chase that lazer beam was perhaps the highlight of the evening, but eventually he got tired, and it was time for a bath.
 
  He wasn't too fond of the bath, as expected, but he was such a good kitty! He only clawed Tim once, and it was by accident. The rest of the time he just sat there, looking at us with those big 'ole eyes. I've never seen a cat so loving that he behaves  so well under a faucet! Poor Poochie, I know he doesn't understand now, but he'll thank us later.

     Tomorrow we'll be planning our big event, THE ECLIPSE PREMIER, which I have to say, I'm pretty stoked about. In fact, this year, I'm going all out. I've readied myself with Vampire makeup and a costume and practiced with it last night.... what do you think?
